SOLD Special Edition Handwerken Zonder Grenzen 2004 * £13 €20 $45 Including Shipping

Handwerken Zonder Grenzen (Handwork Without Frontiers) is a long-established and greatly respected Dutch magazine which was the original template for Piecework.
This edition in mint condition has around 80 pages and is special because it has wonderful articles - and charted patterns - in Dutch - on early needlework and much more.
There are needlework treasures from Glamis Castle in Scotland and Sulgrave Manor in England
There are patterns for spot motifs
and also for a very pretty alphabet
More 17th treasures are these two biblical scenes stitched when the needleworker was in her 60s!
There is also an article on early patchwork
a fully charted pattern for Anne Brownbridge's sampler in Haslemere Educational Museum
more patterns for 17th century spot motifs - including a lovely evening bag for you to stitch and make up.
